FAQ

How can I switch clubs?

Email union@pfriembeer.com and say which club you want to switch to. If you ship to WA and are a member via Tavour, please reach out to support@tavour.com to request any changes. 

When will you charge my card?

We will send you an email two days before each release letting you know we will be charging your card; a receipt will then be emailed to you. If your membership is via Tavour, the charge will come from them. 

Is shipping available?

Yes, we can ship within the state of Oregon. If you are looking to have your releases shipped to Washington, please sign up for the Washington membership option via Tavour. 

How can I get my release?

You have 5 choices each quarter: 

  • Pick up at our Hood River Tasting Room
  • Pick up at one of our two Portland area Pick-ups
  • Have it shipped to an Oregon address
  • Have it shipped to a Washington address via Tavour. 
How long do I have to pick up my release?

Portland Area Pick-up Parties 
Pick-up parties are that day only, typically hosted during the week from 5-8 pm. Releases cannot be left at accounts for later pick-up.

Hood River Tasting Room 
Cellar Club Members have a two week window to pick up releases as barrel aged beer has a longer shelf life. Any beer that is not picked up after 14 days will be shipped to your address we have on file and the standard shipping charges will be applied to your credit card on file. Someone will need to be present to sign for the delivery. We often recommend shipping to a business address.

Artisan Club Members have a seven day window to pick up releases as we want you to enjoy your beers as fresh as possible. Any beer that is not picked up after 7 days will be shipped to your address we have on file and the standard shipping charges will be applied to your credit card on file. Someone will need to be present to sign for the delivery. We often recommend shipping to a business address.

Do you offer refunds?

Due to Oregon law, we are unable to issue any refunds for beer that is not picked up or accepted for delivery within the timeframe of these terms. UPS will try to deliver up to three times. If delivery is unsuccessful, members bear the cost of return shipment and reshipment. We will do our best to accommodate special circumstances if there is an issue.

Why can’t I customize my releases?

At this time we are unable to offer customization of cases as they have been carefully curated almost a year ahead of time!  These beers have been carefully selected by our expert team of brewers, who hand-select the freshest beers and schedule out our canning/bottling line accordingly. But don't worry, we're confident you'll love them!

How do I change my delivery method?

Login to your membership profile and click on Club Shipments change delivery method.

Can I pick up my release at the new location in Milwaukie?

At this time we are not able to offer club releases in Milwaukie due to space restrictions. Eventually, we will host pick-up parties at our new location, but only during that specified time and date. Unpicked up cases will return to Hood River for pick-up or shipping there. 

What if I live in Washington but want to pick up my release at the brewery or Portland pick-up events?

That's great! You will sign up for the Oregon membership. Note: if you are unable to pick up your release in the allowed time frame it will be returned to inventory without a refund. 

What if I live in Washington but want to pick up my release at the Seattle release events?

Unfortunately, we are not taking new requests for picking up club releases via Seattle release parties due to limited space. We recommend signing up for Tavour to receive your quarterly release and still attending the event to taste some beer and chat with other pFriemsters!

Can I pick up my online order in the Tasting Room?

Yes! Online orders are currently only available for pick up at our Hood River Tasting Room. Use the Union Store to place your order, select Tasting Room pick-up and then give us 24 hours to fulfill your order. 

For weekends, please place orders by 5PM on Friday to ensure your order is assembled and ready for pick-up. Orders placed over the weekend may take longer to assemble or may not contain every item requested. You will receive a refund for any items we are unable to fulfill. 

When are releases available?

 Releases occur seasonally with the following;

Spring - late March/early April 
Summer - late June/early July 
Fall- Late September/early October 
Winter- Early December

Can I put my account on hold?

You have the option to put your account on hold for one release per year and keep your member benefits. We request you give us 5 days notice before the release is available in the Tasting Room, you will be reminded of this date in several emails per quarter, so that we can plan accordingly.

Do you have an age requirement?

You must be at least 21 years old to join the pFriemsters Union Local 541.

How do I receive my discount in the Tasting Room?

Once you sign up, we'll mail you a new member kit that includes your membership card. Be sure to bring this card with you to the Tasting Room (both Hood River and Milwaukie!) to receive your discount. Your membership discount applies to in-house beer, to-go beer, and merchandise—but does not include food.

I’ve changed my mind, when can I cancel so I don’t get charged?

Email us at union@pfriembeer.com if you no longer want to be a part of the Union. We request you give us 7 days notice before releases become available in the Tasting Room. You will be reminded of this date in several emails per quarter.

How can I get the most out of my pFriemsters membership?

Attend the parties, the classes, the new member orientation zoom call, join our private Facebook club, come visit the tasting room, invite friends (hint, hint - referral credits) and meet your fellow beer lovers.

pFriem Family Brewers retains, at its sole and unconditional discretion, the right to cancel a membership and refund a prorated portion of a member's membership fee for any reason at any time.
