History
In Europe during the Medieval period, oats were a common ingredient in beer. Less common was the emulation of a cookie in beer. On a recent trip to California we were inspired by our Southern Brethren and their intriguing Oat-ey dessert beers. And so, pFriem Oatmeal Cookie Ale was born. Showcasing a trifecta of oats for an incredibly creamy mouthfeel and Ceylon cinnamon, Mexican Vanilla and Tanzanian Cacao nibs for the Cookie bits, it’s a dark chocolate chip snickerdoodle in a glass!
