About the Role

You will be working with our talented kitchen team and be responsible for a designated station on the kitchen service line. You will also take part in other duties such as opening, and closing procedures based on your particular shift. Line cooks are responsible for taking daily inventory of their stations, prepping as needed, communicating with managers and peers, and maintaining cleanliness, sanitation, quality, and professionalism.

A breakdown of your tasks:

  • Care about the quality of food you prepare, and strive for consistency in flavor and appearance
  • Learn and adapt to processes of our kitchen
  • Work collaboratively with others, communicate well, and be positive
  • Be willing to ask questions and discuss challenges to ensure great food quality
  • Be on time for all shifts, ready to work, with a positive mindset
  • Be able to provide consistent availability of days and shifts you are able to work
  • Be self-motivated in seeking out additional tasks and/or ways to help other team members
  • Follow all checklists and guides provided by management
  • Maintain quality, cleanliness, sanitation and professionalism regardless of business volume
  • Be able to work in a standing position for long periods of time
  • Be able to lift up to 50lbs safely and without risk of injury to self, others, or company property

You don’t get fired up under pressure, and know how to prioritize, and keep cool when 5 tickets all show up on the rail at the same time. You know how to ask for help and how to manage tasks and emotions when it’s go-time.

Your qualifications

  • Positive attitude and a willingness to work as part of a team.
  • Prepared for the physical requirements of a busy kitchen and have attention to detail for both cleanliness and thoroughness.
  • Punctuality, reliability, and being continually receptive to constructive guidance from leads and managers
  • At least one year of experience in a kitchen, and great care for the quality of your work.
