This is a full time, salaried role, and reports to our General Manager. In this role you will play a key part in the day-to-day success of the Tasting Room by ensuring our employees deliver the outstanding guest experience that pFriem Family Brewers is known for. We are looking for a leader that is experienced, organized, and passionate about creating a thriving work environment for our employees. For the right candidate, we are also open to training you to ultimately be our General Manager in our upcoming location in Milwaukie. You’d serve as our Assistant GM in Hood River and then in early 2025 we’d discuss having you help us manage our Milwaukie location.

You will be expected to transport packaged beer and raw materials from the brewery to the off-site warehouse, prepare distributor orders for shipping and unload trucks, and maintain/organize our cold storage units. You are a crucial part of the production process and will be expected to work well with the warehouse and packaging teams to maintain the high quality of pFriem beer throughout the production process.

You will perform daily brewing and cellar operations at a 40,000bbl+ per year brewery. Brewers at pFriem are responsible for many tasks from raw material handling through to brite beer. The position requires a willingness to train on a diverse set of skills throughout the brewing process.

You will learn to operate canning, kegging, bottling, and labeling equipment, and work with a dynamic team. You are a crucial part of the production process and will be expected to work well within the production operations teams to maintain the high quality of pFriem beer throughout the packaging process.

You will be working with our talented kitchen team and be responsible for a designated station on the kitchen service line. You will also take part in other duties such as opening, and closing procedures based on your particular shift. Line cooks are responsible for taking daily inventory of their stations, prepping as needed, communicating with managers and peers, and maintaining cleanliness, sanitation, quality, and professionalism.

You will be working with our talented kitchen team and be vital to the success of the overall kitchen. You will be scheduled for AM shifts, generally beginning around 9am. Prep cooks are responsible for preparing a wide variety of items, from scratch, using almost all methods of cooking, both hot and cold. Prep Cooks will be responsible for executing the daily prep needs as outlined by managers, will be ready to change tasks as needs arise, can communicate needs or issues to managers, all while maintaining a reasonable level of organization and professionalism.

You will serve guests table-side, providing excellent customer service throughout the duration of their pFriem experience. Servers are expected to have thorough beer, food, and company knowledge, and be able to clearly convey all three to guests.

You will greet guests as they enter the tasting room, add them to our waitlist using NoWait software, and show them to their table, as well as assist the serving staff with clearing and resetting tables, and be assigned shift-dependent side work.
