pFriem Family Brewers is looking for a Direct to Consumer Lead in our Hood River, Oregon office. In this role, you will be responsible for launching and managing the pFriem Beer Club, managing Hood River events, and marketing and sales support. Launching our Beer Club is a BIG DEAL, and you will be counted on to make it awesome, and to deliver it to our loving customers with the same ethos that we employ every day to brew our beer.

As the Mid-Size Brewery of the Year at the 2018 Great American Beer Festival, pFriem is growing quickly and needs to add a talented, passionate,
and reliable individual to our team. A love and understanding of the beermarket is required, as you will be counted on to connect with our enthusiastic customers, and build programs to help drive the pFriem brand into the marketplace in new and unique ways.

Qualified candidates will have a broad understanding of the beer industry, and some experience in sales or marketing functions at exceptional breweries or wineries. We are a dynamic and agile company which requires team members to juggle multiple roles. This position includes creating and managing
the beer club, transactional support of the marketing and sales functions, and event planning and execution in our Hood River location, management and
fulfillment of online store orders, and various other supporting tasks.

This position reports directly to ownership and requires a commitment of at least 30 hours weekly, likely growing to 40 hours.

Major Responsibilities
  • Launch and manage all aspects of the pFriem beer club
  • Event planning and execution in our Hood River location
  • Transactional support of sales and marketing functions
  • Management, and fulfillment of online store
  • Assistance with social media
  • Field support for sales events, such as tap takeovers, beer release parties, tastings, etc.
  • Budgeting, and planning for beer club initiatives, events, etc.

Ideal Background/Skills
  • 2-5 years of experience in a Direct to Consumer environment at a brewery or winery
  • Passionate and knowledgeable about beer and the beer industry
  • Commitment to high levels of customer satisfaction
  • Innovative thinker w.r.t. customer engagement and brand building
  • Skilled multi-tasker; able to prioritize and meet deadlines
  • High level of attention to detail and work product requiring little re-work
  • Enthusiastic problem solver who likes to tackle difficult and ambiguous problems
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to take directions from multiple stakeholders
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to earn trust and respect from others
  • Motivated, self-starter with the ability to learn quickly
  • Ability to work flexible hours and travel in the PacNW region
